  • Payment information: We do not collect or store your payment details. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status from Stripe.
  • Usage data: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage information to help us understand how the app is used and to improve performance and features. This data does not identify you personally.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Cooking Timers
  • Sync your Library across your devices
  • Process and manage your subscription
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Send you important updates about your account or subscription

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. We use reputable third-party services for authentication and data storage. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

The app may use browser local storage to remember your preferences (such as theme settings) and to keep you signed in. These are stored on your device and are not transmitted to our servers unless needed for syncing your Library.

We use the following third-party services:

  • Stripe: For secure payment processing. Stripe handles your payment details in accordance with its own privacy policy.
  • Authentication provider: For account creation and sign-in. This provider manages your password and authentication tokens securely.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information and Library data within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Cooking Timers is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
