Yes. Your timers keep accurate time when Cooking Timers is in the background.

For alerts when Cooking Timers isn't on screen, allow notifications. In the Cooking Timers app for iPhone and iPad, timer alerts are scheduled on your device and can alert you when the app is in the background or your device is locked. In a browser on iPhone or iPad, add Cooking Timers to your Home Screen and allow notifications for background alerts. Your timers still run if notifications are turned off.

Because mobile devices can sometimes delay background notifications, we recommend using your device's Clock alarm as a backup for anything time-sensitive.

In the Apple app, subscriptions are sold by Apple and the price shown at purchase is Apple's price for your country or region and currency.

Yes. If you subscribed on the website, manage or cancel your subscription from Manage Billing in your Cooking Timers account. If you subscribed through the App Store, use Manage Subscription in the app or Apple's subscription management.

No. Your recipes, DIY projects, meal plans, Smart Grocery Lists, Smart Materials Lists, and collections remain safely stored in your account.

If your subscription ends, your Libraries features are locked until you resubscribe, but your saved content remains in your account unless you choose to delete it.

When you resubscribe, you regain access to your saved content.

You can save and import recipes and DIY projects from your favorite apps and websites, including Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, and more.

For Instagram and TikTok, paste the link and tap Import. Cooking Timers will first try to create the recipe or project from the available caption and page information.

If more information is needed, you can choose to:

• •Add screenshots or photos
• •Paste the recipe or project text

You can also import from cookbooks, recipe cards, books, magazines, package instructions, handwritten notes, photos, screenshots, and more.

Paste an Instagram or TikTok link and we'll read whatever the post makes publicly available. If the recipe or project details are included, we'll build it for you. If the post sends you to a website with the full recipe or project, we'll use that instead.

Some creators only show or say the steps in the video. When that happens, tap Import From Video, choose your saved or screen-recorded clip, and we'll finish the import. Your original link and the creator's name stay attached.

Yes. Use Import From Video to create recipes and DIY projects from saved videos.

Cooking Timers automatically compresses and optimizes videos during import while preserving the information needed to create your recipe or project.

Videos can be up to 5 minutes long and must be 20 MB or less after preparation.

Yes. Import recipes and DIY projects from cookbooks, recipe cards, books, magazines, package instructions, handwritten notes, photos, screenshots, and more.

Yes. You can edit titles, ingredients, materials, instructions, notes, timers, collections, and cover images at any time.

Every recipe and DIY project can have its own custom cover image.

Cooking Timers can create a unique AI-generated cover image using your recipe's ingredients or your project's materials.

New accounts start with 10 AI Cover credits, shared across Recipes and DIY Projects. One credit is used for each AI Cover you generate. You can buy more AI Covers at any time. AI Covers are optional — you can upload your own image or save without one.

Prefer to use your own image? Simply upload it, and Cooking Timers will automatically resize and optimize it for your library.

For the best appearance across devices, use a landscape image and keep important text or subjects away from the outer edges.

Recipe Box and Project Box are your personal libraries where you can save, organize, and quickly access all of your recipes and DIY projects in one place.

Yes. Create unlimited collections to organize your recipes and DIY projects any way you like, making everything easy to browse and find.

Yes. Quickly search your saved recipes and DIY projects to find exactly what you're looking for.

Yes. Inspirations are saved as real DIY projects in your Project Box, so there is no separate staging area or extra step required to move them later.
